With 20+ years experience of large scale DofE expedition provision for schools, you can assured of a safe and well managed expedition programme. 
A 4 day Bronze training, practice and assessment walking programme, for example, starts at £160 per participant for groups of 28.

We can provide, tents, stoves, rucksacks, roll mats and ponchos, and if canoeing, all the dry bags needed.  The larger the group sharing a programme the lower the individual cost.  Canoeing is also a great way for groups with disabilities to take part on equal terms.

Canoeing with us saves many groups two days of travel and accommodation to wild country areas and often makes the whole package cheaper than walking.  For example, a Gold canoe group of 22 can start at £490 pp for the whole 9 day programme completed, assessed and signed off on-line.

Starting Spring 2025 at Constable Park are offering a 3 month programme ideal for DofE skills section.  A weekly one hour session learning core skills in all three watercraft.  Any local school or youth group please get in touch to get started


New for 2025!

We are now offering stand up paddleboard (SUP) or sit on top kayak as options for Bronze and Silver groups.  This exciting new option is ideal for groups of 6-8 up to 22.  You can mix craft as well so you can journey with a variety of styles.  Prices start at £380 per person for larger groups.

Canoe Expeditions for open individuals or small groups
Why not complete your Silver or Gold expedition by canoe in the East of England?
Do something different and enjoy your expedition section by paddling through the beautiful remote waterways of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.  With most routes about an hour on the train from London, you don’t have to lose the time and cost of travel to and from wild country areas.
 
Learn to canoe with us, including all the safety skills you will need and then you are off exploring the quiet rivers of East Anglia.  Expect to discover natural hidden rivers that can only be accessed by canoes.  With opportunities to spot wildlife and occasional fallen trees to be negotiated, expect an enjoyable adventure.  At Gold level also expect to experience the huge skies of crossing open Fenland many miles from the nearest road.
 
Our canoe expeditions use top quality lightweight canoes, dry bags, barrels, tents and stoves.  We can assure you everyone becomes great friends after the shared experience of canoe capsize drills!
